About Rank My Perfume
A fragrance encyclopedia that respects your attention.
A reference for perfume should be a pleasure to use — fast, clean, and free of clutter. So we built one: every scent beautifully organised, with no ads and nothing in the way of what you came to find.
472 designer · 44 niche · 16 Middle Eastern — and growing.
What we stand for
Ad-free, always
No banners, no pop-ups, no tracking-for-sale. Just the fragrance you came to find, fast.
Web-verified
Notes, accords, perfumers and prices are checked against original sources. Where we’re still verifying, we say so.
Everything, together
Designer, niche and Middle Eastern houses sit side by side — not siloed, not ranked by who paid.
What makes it different
Similarity & dupe engine
Every perfume shows what smells like it — and flags cheaper alternatives with a “save ~$X” badge. Aventus at $510, or Club de Nuit at $35?
See it on AventusRankings studio
Build tier lists, leaderboards, knockout brackets or “this-or-that” sorts from the whole catalogue — then save and revisit them.
Open the studioThe note pyramid, reimagined
Each scent unfolds as a vertical top → heart → base timeline, colour-coded by note family, so you can read how it wears.
See a pyramidWhere this is going
The encyclopedia you’re using is the first of three things. Alongside it sits ranking and sorting content — the kind of side-by-side comparisons that are genuinely hard to do well anywhere else — and, further out, thoughtful collaborations with the houses themselves.
We’re adding breadth constantly: more houses, deeper note coverage, and editorial writing in place of templated blurbs. Accounts and saved rankings just landed; licensed imagery and a public launch come next.
Descriptions are written in-house and fact-checked before they go live. Product images are official or press imagery used to identify each fragrance; all brand marks remain their owners’. See image rights & takedown.
