Alexandre.J

Niche · France · est. 2012

Alexandre.J is a French niche house launched in 2012 by designer Alexandre Jabri, who built the brand around the idea that the bottle and the scent are a single object rather than a fragrance placed inside a container. The house is best known for The Collector — six opulent, Orient-leaning eaux de parfum in metallic engraved flacons (Rose Oud, Golden Oud, Silver Ombre, Morning Muscs, Black Muscs, Zafeer Oud Vanille) — later joined by the Ultimate Collection in pate de verre glass, the Art Deco Collector marking the movement's centenary in 2020, and the sculptural Art Nouveau line from 2022. Its compositions lean rich and enveloping: oud, saffron, rose, amber, musk and vanilla treated with a French-perfumery polish, drawing on materials such as mother-of-pearl, enamel and gilded metal for the bottles.
