Atelier Cologne

Niche · France · est. 2009

Atelier Cologne is a French niche fragrance house founded in Paris in 2009 by chemist Sylvie Ganter and perfumer Christophe Cervasel, best known for creating the "Cologne Absolue" concentration — traditional eau de cologne citrus structures reworked at a higher (roughly 15-20%) essential-oil concentration for greater longevity. L'Oréal Luxe acquired the house in 2016; it withdrew from direct US and Canadian retail in 2022 while continuing to operate and release new fragrances internationally.
