Cerruti is a French-Italian fashion house built by Nino Cerruti, whose family had run the Lanificio Fratelli Cerruti wool mill in Biella, Italy since 1881. Nino Cerruti launched his Paris ready-to-wear label in the 1960s-70s and entered fragrance in 1978 with Nino Cerruti Pour Homme; the perfume line was later consolidated under the '1881' name honoring the family mill's founding year. Known for accessible, well-crafted aromatic fougeres and leather-woody scents for men alongside elegant florals for women.
