Hind Al Oud

Middle Eastern · United Arab Emirates · est. 2001

Hind Al Oud is an Emirati luxury perfume house founded in 2001 by Mohamed Hilal, the flagship fragrance brand of the Abu Dhabi-based Mohamed Hilal Group (which also owns Anfasic Dokhoon and Khaltat). Originally trained as a pilot in the United States, Hilal built the house around the idea that perfume is an emotion rather than an ingredient list, reinterpreting traditional Arabian oud perfumery through contemporary composition. The house is known for unusually rich sprays that carry roughly 40% perfume oil — far above a conventional eau de parfum — alongside pure dehn oud oils, dokhoon and mubakhar incense. Its signature Sheikh A, an oud oil later reissued as a spray, remains one of the most copied modern luxury oud scents in the Gulf.
