Khaltat

Middle Eastern · United Arab Emirates · est. 2012

Khaltat — full name Khaltat Blends of Love — is an Emirati perfume house launched in 2012 as one of the three fragrance brands of the Abu Dhabi-based Mohamed Hilal Group, alongside its sister houses Hind Al Oud and Anfasic Dokhoon. Its founding concept is love expressed across languages: the core collection names each scent after the word for "love" in a different tongue — Ask (Turkish), Ai (Japanese), Aloha (Hawaiian), Grá (Irish), Liebe (German), Ljubovj (Croatian), Hob (Arabic) and more — each presented in a distinctive tetrahedral bottle engraved with an aphorism about love. The house pairs French-style perfumery structures with Emirati raw materials, building most of its compositions around agarwood, sandalwood, amber and musk, and offers each blend across parfum sprays, concentrated oils, dehn oud, bakhoor and multipurpose sprays.
