Khet

Niche · India · est. 2024

Khet is an Indian niche perfume house founded in 2024 by Madhav Narang and Arhum Jain, based in Gurugram. The brand was built on the founders' frustration that most perfumes sold in India smelled like they belonged somewhere else, and it translates Indian cultural memory — colonial history, street snacks, childhood candy, hill-station rituals, travelling performers — into wearable scent. Every fragrance is made and bottled in India at a 20-25% perfume concentration, sold in 50ml bottles priced around Rs. 2,501 to sit in an accessible-premium band. The house keeps a deliberately small library of five single scents, sold individually and in named combination boxes such as Azadi, Meethi Mirch, Pati Patni aur Perfume and Chausar.
