Missoni

Designer · Italy · est. 1953

Missoni is an Italian luxury fashion house founded in 1953 by Ottavio ("Tai") and Rosita Missoni, who began as a small knitwear workshop in Gallarate before debuting their zigzag-patterned knits in Milan in 1958, going on to become synonymous with colorful, wave-striped Italian design. The house's fragrance line, launched in 1981, has largely mirrored that identity through vivid, sun-drenched florals and citrus-aromatic compositions evoking the Mediterranean and the brand's signature multicolor energy, with contributions from noses including Maurice Roucel, Quentin Bisch and Christophe Raynaud.
