Mona di Orio

Niche · France · est. 2004

Mona di Orio Parfums (later Maison Mona di Orio) was a French niche perfume house founded in 2004 by perfumer Mona di Orio, a protégée of Edmond Roudnitska, together with business partner Jeroen Oude Sogtoen, known for dark, textured, unconventional compositions built in what di Orio called an 'olfactory chiaroscuro' style. Mona di Orio died suddenly in December 2011; the house continued under Oude Sogtoen with in-house perfumers Melanie Leroux and later Fredrik Dalman, before Oude Sogtoen announced the closure of the maison in November 2024.
