Parfums de Nicolaï

Founded in Paris in 1989 by Patricia de Nicolaï — a great-granddaughter of Pierre Guerlain and niece of Jean-Paul Guerlain, trained at ISIPCA and Quest International — Parfums de Nicolaï was one of the first independent niche perfume houses, predating the term itself. Every fragrance is composed by Patricia herself in the laboratory above her original Paris boutique, favoring natural materials and classical French construction over trend-driven marketing; she is also president of the Osmothèque perfume conservatory in Versailles.
