Sospiro Perfumes

Sospiro Perfumes is an Italian niche house launched in 2011 by Sergio Momo, the Turin-based founder of Xerjoff, as a sister line with its own identity and creative direction. Its naming is drawn from classical music and opera — Soprano, Tenore, Basso, Contralto, Cadenza, Prima Donna — and the house presents each release as a 'voice' in a fragrance symphony, housed in heavy glass flacons with velvet packaging. The bulk of the modern catalogue was composed by British perfumer Christian Provenzano, with later releases from Salah Al Zarooni, Nathalie Templer, Elodie Bernard, Anne-Louise Gautier, Dominique Moellhausen and Mariaceleste Lombardo. Sospiro is best known for its bright fruity-musky Erba family and for opulent amber and woody compositions that bridge Italian craft with Middle Eastern taste.
