Ambroxan

Amber note · also known as Ambrox, Ambroxide

A synthetic molecule derived from clary sage that mimics a key facet of ambergris, ambroxan smells warm, dry, woody-ambery, and slightly mineral-musky. It is highly diffusive and widely used as a clean, skin-like amber base.
