Widely credited as the very first fig fragrance to reach the market, Premier Figuier launched the entire 'fig' genre of niche perfumery in 1994. Olivia Giacobetti's green, milky rendering of fig leaf and coconut-sandalwood became a template later followed by dozens of houses.
