Aurelien Guichard is a Grasse-born perfumer and son of perfumer Jean Guichard, who trained at the Givaudan school and has worked across Givaudan, Firmenich and Takasago. He is the co-founder of the niche house Matiere Premiere and is admired for his work with raw materials like rose, vetiver and tuberose.
