Founded in Madrid in 1846 as a leather artisans' collective, Loewe entered perfumery in 1972 with L de Loewe and has since built a distinctive catalogue under noses like Olivier Cresp and Emilio Valeros. Since 2013, under LVMH ownership and creative director Jonathan Anderson, the house's fragrance line has become known for craft-driven, art-adjacent scents such as the 001 duo and the cult Paula's Ibiza.
