L de Loewe, the house's very first fragrance, is a green chypre-floral built on galbanum and neroli over a bouquet of iris, rose and lily, grounded by leather, oakmoss and vetiver. Launched in 1972, it is remembered by enthusiasts as one of the great, largely forgotten 1970s chypres.
